Clip Publisher

Privacy policy

Updated 12 September 2026.

Purpose and information used

Clip Publisher is a personal tool operated for the AllThingsTwitch YouTube channel. The Google connection uses OAuth credentials and YouTube channel information, including the channel ID and name, to identify the authorized destination. Its publishing integration is being developed to upload operator-selected videos and their titles, descriptions and other publishing settings to YouTube.

Google authorization

Google handles sign-in and consent. Clip Publisher does not receive the operator's Google password. It requests the YouTube upload and read-only permissions. OAuth credentials are stored encrypted on the operator's computer during the current setup.

Use and sharing

Google account information is used to connect the selected channel and support the requested publishing functionality. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to train AI models. When uploads are enabled, the selected video and publishing metadata are sent to YouTube. Clip Publisher uses YouTube API Services; Google's handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Retention and control

The operator controls the local installation and its stored credentials and channel records. They can delete those local records and revoke Clip Publisher's access through Google account connections. Revoking access stops future authorized API access; it does not delete videos already uploaded to YouTube. Uploaded videos can be managed in YouTube Studio.

Contact

For questions about this personal tool or deletion of its stored information, contact the operator using the support email shown on Clip Publisher's Google consent screen.

Limited Use

Clip Publisher's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
